UTAU is software developed by Ameya/Ayame for generating synthesised singing. It was inspired by Vocaloid, another singing synthesis program. However, where Vocaloid comes with a hefty price tag for both the software AND each voicebank, UTAU itself is free with an unlimited amount of community created voicebanks for most languages. You can even record your own voicebanks!
